Beast Up Hoops is a non-profit Basketball Youth Organization, a member of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). We are a traveling Youth Basketball Program that competes in competitive AAU tournaments located in an array of cities within California and Nevada. Our program currently offers opportunities for boys (14U & 12U) to compete in competitive basketball. As a non-profit organization we rely upon individual and corporate donations for the continued development of our program. We are a confirmed 501(c)3 organization with the Amateur Athletic Union, thus making any donations to our program eligible for a tax deduction.

Our organization promotes discipline and development of girls/boys mentally, physically and emotionally. We provide a safe environment for players to train and hone their individual basketball skills, while building upon their initial foundation of basketball fundamentals. It is a mandatory requirement for all participating players to display a positive attitude and demeanor at all times. Our team embodies and encourages competitive play which directly aids in the enhancement of each player’s personal skill level. Our program provides an environment that aids in establishing the creation and building of self confidence and self awareness through competitive athletics. The coaches teach and promote goal setting and the obtaining of goals through conditioning of the mind as well as the body. Mental toughness is established while a player is continually challenged to transcend boundaries set forth by teammates, coaches and parents.

The development of each player’s basketball I.Q. is the most important component of our program. Coaches explain and confirm the importance of individual expectations needed to be performed while playing an assigned position on the floor. The collective focus centers around basketball techniques and individual placement while in the game. We teach our players how to make adjustments and adapt to situations during participation in basketball games. We instruct all players on how to think outside of the box and how to improvise so that they can flourish through taking advantage of what the defense gives them. The players also learn how to become productive within the confines of the team concept, while also honing their own individual skills.

Trail Head Youth Ranch

There’s something special about going out into the country to a real ranch. A place that’s there especially for you, a place where no one’s crowding you and you can just be yourself. A quiet place where the baggage disappears and God seems closer. A place with a purpose, a place where you’re welcome. Trailhead Youth Ranch is a non-profit ministry that provides the ideal location, volunteer staff and program to make this a reality for kids at no cost.

MISSION

Trailhead Youth Ranch is an all-volunteer, non-profit religious organization.

Our mission is to develop and maintain a ranch setting and horse program that motivates, equips and inspires volunteers, children and families to grow and prosper through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

GOALS

Our desire is that the children and families who participate in our programs would experience::

Adventure—through involvement in horse-related activities
Relationship—through the love and acceptance of our volunteers
Purpose—by growing in skills and responsibility
Truth—by drawing closer to God

Statement of Faith
WE BELIEVE:
1. That “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God,” by which we understand the
whole book called THE BIBLE; that it is inerrant in the original writing and that
its teaching and authority are absolute, supreme and final.
2. The Godhead eternally exists in three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy
Spirit. These three are one God, having the same nature, attributes and
perfection.
3. In the Personality and Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ begotten of the Holy Spirit, born
of the Virgin Mary, truly God and truly man.
4. In the Personality and Deity of the Holy Spirit, the source and power of all acceptable
worship and service, the infallible interpreter of the infallible Word, who
indwells every true believer.
5. That man was created in the image of God, after His likeness, as stated in the Word of
God, but the whole human race fell in the fall of the first Adam.
6. That Jesus Christ became the sinner’s substitute before God, and died as a
propitiatory sacrifice for the sins of the whole world.
7. In the resurrection of the crucified body of Jesus Christ; that His body was raised
from the dead according to the Scriptures, and that He ascended into Heaven
and sits on the right hand of God as the believer’s high priest and advocate.
8. That Christ in the fullness of the blessings He has secured by His death and
resurrection is received by faith alone and that the moment we trust Him as our
Savior we pass out of death into everlasting life, justified from all sin, accepted
before the Father according to the measure of His acceptance, loved as He is
loved and made one with Him.
9. That the Church is composed of all those who truly believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
as Savior. It is the body and the bride of Christ.
10. That all believers in our Lord Jesus are called into a life of separation from worldly
and sinful practices and should abstain from such amusements and habits as will
cause others to stumble, or bring reproach upon the cross of Christ.
11. In the personal return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; that the coming again of
Jesus Christ is the “Blessed Hope” set before us, for which we should be
constantly looking.
12. In the reality and personality of Satan, “that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan,
which deceives the whole world.”
